Cuesta College's Youth Employment Services

If you are between the ages of 16 – 24 and looking for a job – we can help. While all of our services are available to the public, we offer additional services to youth who qualify for the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) program. This is a federal program targeted at youth who meet income requirements and other criteria (to see if you qualify check out WIA Information – eligibility criteria). Our main office is located in Grover Beach, but services are provided throughout San Luis Obispo County.

& Training

  • PARTNERSHIPS & SERVICES TO YOUTH
The reason we are successful at placing youth in jobs has a lot to do with all our community partners; other community-based organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs, government agencies, schools, and local employers, all of which work alongside us to assist youth seeking employment.
  • SCHOOL & COLLEGES
Most youth have no idea about all the training programs and certificates that are available through local community colleges and private vocational schools. These short-term programs are designed for students who prefer short-term vocational training and are not necessarily seeking a college degree. Check them out in Resources & Training under the menu bar.
